About Ziad

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) • MA in Counselling Psychology

I believe that healing does not occur in isolation.

Much of the suffering I witness, especially among younger generations, does not come from a lack of insight or effort, but from a quiet absence of being deeply known. We live in a time of unprecedented connection and profound loneliness, where community has thinned and relationships often feel fragmented or conditional. Coming from a culture rooted in kinship and shared life, I understand healing as something that unfolds between people. In therapy, the relationship itself becomes the fertile soil from which change emerges. It is a space where your nervous system can soften, where you are met with consistency and care, and where patterns shaped by past relationships can be gently understood and transformed. Over time, this relational safety allows deeper work to take place: trauma can be held, emotions can be metabolized, and a sense of belonging can be restored. My role is not to direct or define your path, but to walk alongside you—bearing witness as you reconnect with yourself and with others, in a way that feels real and sustaining.
